QUALITY SYSTEMS CONTROL – CHINA

 

Job Duties

Plans, directs, and helps the Quality Manager organize and implement quality assurance programs during entire life cycle of product.  Duties include: formulating policies and implementing measurement systems for these plans, in order to address how products are sourced, manufactured, and distributed; working with suppliers to ensure shipping and delivery of quality products on time; working with Customer Services to make sure on-time orders placed; developing business relationships with suppliers and clients; preparing suppliers and accompanying auditors to inspect plants, making sure suppliers pass inspection and make requested improvements; conducting regular audits of suppliers to ensure level of quality, including strategies to minimize the cost and time required to transport goods; working with Sales, as needed, in positioning procedures with customers for Sales and Marketing purposes; reviewing and formulating quality control policies and control protocol for operations, including proposing improvements to management and customers; communicating with Chinese suppliers, colleagues, and clients to ensure smooth product life cycle. International travel (China) 25%.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology or Industrial Engineering

2 years work experience in quality process/procedure auditing

Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken)

Permanent U.S. work authorization
